Pires opens this latest case with a bit of bait and switch. Starting in the present day, Blackheart starts his investigation. His calm persona hides the more personal aspects of this case. Once the story jumps back 24 hours, more darkness starts to emerge. Events move quickly thanks to a hooded figure. His actions are swift and violent as he confronts Cyrus.
Readers are quickly treated to an all out melee with huge swords. Casalanguida goes big for these moments. A two page splash sets a violent course full speed ahead. There are plenty of amazing action panels here. The fight ends with a monster full page exclamation point.
Once the smoke clears, Henry starts processing what has gone down. The dialogue cuts as he accepts the clues but challenges them. A visit to Nihlas proves eventful. The dialogue features the rivals in a respectful place. Knowing what happened with Cyrus, animosity is put aside. It leads to the closing pages. A parting full page image leaves no doubt that a hunt has started. Pray for those in Henry’s way.
This chapter also has a feature from Pires, Franklin Jonas & Maxi Dall'o. A new character is joining the ranks. The pages tease a magical aspect right before dealing with some bad guys. Very intriguing indeed.

Henry Blackheart returns with a personal case he can’t walk away from. Pires sets the stage with a deeply rooted attack through unclear motives. Casalanguida & Dale bring the actions with some incredible fight scenes. The latest arc has all the making for an all time classic.
