Kirkman plays into the uniqueness of this character for an entertaining chapter. Seeing the carnage after Wreck-Gar and the Junkions arrive makes a bold start. The dialogue shows the coldness of the scavengers. Once the jounrey arrives on Junkion does the chapter take flight.

Readers watch as the hunter reflects on the situation at hand. Kirkman locks in the uneasiness of the trouble. More reveals come to light as the conversation progresses. It unlocks secrets of the bounty hunter. This gets broken up by a new fight. Akronus provides a segway into the closing act. At this stage, another reveal wraps up events for now. It only adds more questions as the mystery behind the character has only just begun.

Hughes opens up with huge full page images. The devastation of Wreck-Gar’s attack is vivid and unapologetic. It serves a glimpse into the Junkions mindset. Seeing their facial reactions to their work gives off how disposable they see Skuxxoids. It only gets worse for the hunter as the chapter unfolds.

The junkyard conversation covers many emotions. Readers see uncomfortable laughing to sobering realization. Akronus debuts with a loud near-full panel. Pacing moves in waves for this segment. Even as another player joins the game, the chapter sails in peaks and valleys. There is payoff with the final panel. A full page image reveals a hidden secret with only infuses more possibilities down the road.

The truth behind the bounty hunter is unveiled in a stand-alone chapter. Kirkman throws many elements in place with the writing. Hughes brings some impressive images to the forefront. The chapter leaves some things for readers to ponder as Darak and Solila’s saga resumes next chapter.
